50 Days to Fitness: The Bloom Body Programme

The 50 Days to Fitness Programme involves an hour long meeting once a week for 6 weeks. At the end of this time you will feel fitter and will have the motivation, insight and an action plan to maintain this healthier way of life.

A typical programme might look like this:

Session 1:
In this introductory session we’ll meet, discuss your approach to exercise, your lifestyle and we'll review your psychometric tests, so that we can begin to explore what might be holding you back.

Session 2:
Here we’ll go for a walk or a short run. We don’t use gyms, because they come with their own psychological associations that are sometimes not helpful. During the run we’ll discuss how you feel when exercising and we'll focus on finding a comfortable running technique.

Session 3:
Another active session, focusing on the changes and developments you are beginning to feel. During this session we will jointly plan a goal which we will then focus on for the rest of the programme.

Session 4:
We’ll look at ways to support your running, giving you specific exercises that will build your strength (mental and physical!) and looking at your wider lifestyle. The focus is on building positive associations with exercise – so none of these exercises will be beyond you, or unpleasant!

Session 5:
we will focus on using visualisation techniques to help you prepare to meet your goal. The focus of your visualisation is always on promoting a positive self image during exercise. Unless you enjoy it, you won’t stick to it.

Session 6:
We’ll finish with a final run and stretch together, and discuss future areas for improvement.  By this stage you will have the tools to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle to enjoy independently.  But we’ll provide you with an on-going personalised programme and we’ll keep in touch to make sure you achieve the goals you want.  

There is a final, completely free, session which you will have to qualify for. But we'll give you details of this when you apply!
