As psychologists we understand the value of using psychometric tests in helping our clients move forward with their career decision. We understand how learning more about our values, strengths and preferences can help shape the right career decision. But we also understand the limitations of such tests, and we'll coach you to use and interpret the results in the right way.

By confronting you with tough questions about how you want to direct the course of your career and life, we bring your own meaning and life experience to the fore. They don’t provide the answers, you do!

Strengthscope is a revolutionary personality assessment tool that provides a comprehensive measurement of your strengths and talents, and the extent to which these are productively applied at work. It was developed by psychologists through research into strengths, personality, preference, values, ability and positive psychology.

How does it work?

Our tests are generally completed independently, but our psychologists will help you to interpret and make use of the findings.

All our psychometric tests follow the three-step Bloom Career process:
1. Where are you now? Identify what you most enjoy, and what your main interests, abilities, skills, resources, purpose and values are.
2. Where are you going? Evaluate past career (and life) positions and identify future goals in all aspects of your life.
3. How will you get there? Use your results to compare potential options and set new career / life goals as part of a new action plan.

The Philosophy

We don’t believe in simply matching people to occupations, or that there is one single career development path that suits an individual best. Indeed, people often have the resources to pursue many alternative (and even simultaneous) career paths.

Similarly, the perfect career opportunity is not necessarily being advertised in the Saturday Guardian, but individuals can use their unique resources and experiences to create new and better opportunities.
